I initiated a friendly conversation with somebody who I have had some sort of unofficial hard feeling situation/awkward, not-talking-to-each-other relationship. I wasn’t sure if this was counted as making shalom because it wasn’t something major, but I was like, if I met them in the grocery we probably would avoid each other. I knew that if I cleared the air, it would just diffuse unnecessary tension.
