In eighth grade, I got into a really hurtful fight with my best friend. It wasn’t just a regular fight over something small she simply chose to stop being my friend. It left a huge stab in my back. I had told her everything, she was my absolute best friend. It might not sound like something so bad to others, but to me, going through high school, I constantly felt a heavy weight on my back that I just couldn’t let go of. It was so incredibly painful for me.Then this summer, I heard about Charlotte. I was deeply touched by her and the Shalom for Charlotte inititive. Her story inspired me so much that I decided to be brave. I went over to my friend and had a real talk with her.Baruch Hashem, we made shalom and we are better than ever!
