18 years ago I left a yeshiva that I attended in Monsey. After leaving, I came by one night to say hi to my old friends and I heard back that the principal gave a speech to the whole yeshiva to stay away from me and not to have contact with me, as I’m a bad influence and a bum.
It hurt me then and still hurts 18 years later for making me out to be a bad person. I’ve carried a grudge for all these years.
I choose to forgive him in memory of Charlotte.
